Taft Electric’s roots stretch back to 1946, when John Taft opened the original shop just a short walk from where our Ventura headquarters stand today. In 1965, W.E. “Bud” Hartman acquired and incorporated the company, setting the foundation for the growth that followed. For more than seven decades, we’ve been an active NECA member and proud IBEW contractor, supporting projects across nearly every corner of the electrical industry— Commercial, Industrial, Transportation, Education, Entertainment, Healthcare, BioTech/BioPharma, Oil & Gas, and emerging Alternative Energy sectors.
